Structural Alterations & Refurbishment of Residential Block – Belgravia, London
We were approached by our principal contractor client to provide a build cost estimate for the structural alterations and refurbishment of an existing residential block into luxury residential units. The scope of works included a basement dig with tanking, RC walls and floors and strip out and replacement of concrete staircases.
We were provided with a full set of architects and structural details, along with a scope of works, employers requirements and NBS specification. The contractor also provided us with an itemised Bill of Quantities but requested that we perform a remeasure of the quantities and price using our own rates. We were able to advise our contractor client of discrepancies in the quantities and take corrective measures to address this. We eventually delivered a fully costed Bill of Quantities for our client within 5 working days.
