The Waterloo Retail Scheme is a project commissioned by LCR to transform up to 135,000ft2 of space at the former Waterloo International Eurostar Terminal. A total of 40 new units were created across three floors, including a new mezzanine level, situated below the existing platforms. The project forms part of a wider redevelopment of Waterloo Station and was delivered in collaboration with the Department for Transport and Network Rail.
Haydon Construction Services provided Commercial Management, Quantity Surveying, Contract Management and Procurement services. The nature of the project and the use of the JCT Standard Building Contract created a regular need for change management and variation monitoring, which Haydon Construction Services successfully managed.
